The Draft ACT Skills Needs List 2020 is now open for industry consultation
Every year the ACT Government reviews the Skills Needs List to ensure it aligns with the changing skills needs of employers and growth industries in the ACT. This enables us to target our investment in vocational education and training to develop a productive and highly skilled workforce.
We have used existing quantitative evidence to develop draft lists of what qualifications we need in the ACT. However, as key influencers in the ACT economy and in training the ACT’s workforce, your direct knowledge of skills shortages will help us either validate these lists or modify them to better represent what skills Canberra needs.
Please provide your input by responding to the online survey. The survey will close on Friday, 6 September 2019, and we will release the final ACT Skills Needs List 2020 in October 2019.
If you have any enquiries, please email Skills Canberra.
