Release of the 2020 ACT Australian Apprenticeships (User Choice) Qualification Subsidy Amounts (QSA) List and the February 2020 Skilled Capital Qualification and Skill Sets List

User Choice

ACT Australian Apprenticeships (User Choice) Qualification Subsidy Amounts (QSA) are an important way in which the government supports and responds to skills needs in the ACT. Subsidies reflect areas where job creation is needed now and into the future, and may also reduce when demand for training increases. It is an important way we can support growth in the ACT and balance training demand.

The 2020 list of subsidies can now be found on the Registered Training Organisations page. These amounts apply to commencements from 15 January 2020. As in previous years, pricing for existing (active) Australian Apprentices will remain at the subsidy level applied at the time of commencement.

Certain qualification subsidy amounts are yet to be determined (listed as TBD). New qualifications and subsidies will also be added to the ACT Qualifications Register from time to time. The subsidy model and methodology for determining skills needs will be reviewed in 2020.
