New cross-sector infection control Skill Set now available under the National Infection Control Training Fund in the ACT

Skills Canberra has added the recently endorsed BSBSS00095 Cross-Sector Infection Control Skill Set to the list of Skill Sets fully funded under the National Infection Control Training Fund. There are now fee-free training places available for customer-facing workers across six infection control Skill Sets in the ACT.

Registered training organisations (RTOs) that hold an ACT Training Initiative Funding Agreement and have the newly endorsed Cross-Sector Infection Control Skill Set on scope can now nominate it for delivery.

The Skilled Capital Qualification and Skill Set List - June 2020 (XLXS 3.49MB) or (PDF 278MB) has been updated to include the new Skill Set, adjusted caps and funding amount. Please note the caps for these Skill Sets are indicative only and will be adjusted in response to demand.

A reminder that RTOs must comply with the ACT Standards Compliance Guide for Skilled Capital – Infection Control Training (DOCX 1.42MB) or (PDF 1.22MB) when delivering infection control Skill Sets.

Information for students and employers is also now available on the COVID-19 - Infection Control Training page.

All enquiries can be emailed to Skills Canberra.
