JobTrainer Skilled Capital update
JobTrainer Skilled Capital training places were first made available in the ACT on 5 November 2020. The program has seen high demand for full qualifications since this time. Skills Canberra has continuously monitored uptake and the available budget for JobTrainer Skilled Capital places, as well as conducting regular reviews which have also considered student demand, stakeholder feedback and skill needs in the ACT.
Due to significant uptake of JobTrainer training places in the ACT we have closed enrolments on JobTrainer courses through Skilled Capital with the exception of the Introduction to Construction pre-apprenticeship. Thank you to our RTOs for supporting students to access free training through JobTrainer. The JobTrainer Skilled Capital program has supported more than 500 enrolments for job seekers and young people in the ACT.
