2020 ACT Training Awards Nominations Now Open
The annual ACT Training Awards showcase the commitment, innovation and outstanding achievements of all those involved in the ACT vocational education and training (VET) sector. The awards recognise and reward the success of individuals and organisations in Canberra across 14 categories.
There are categories for individuals, employers and training organisations that are committed to the ACT VET sector and have demonstrated excellence through vocational training.
The ACT Government is committed to creating the skills and innovation base of new industries in the ACT. We want to recognise the excellent work of vocational students and employers in the ACT, as well as the high quality of our VET providers.

Nominate your organisation
Nominating for the ACT Training Awards is an opportunity for your organisation to raise its profile and be acknowledged and rewarded for its contribution to skilling Australia. Winning an ACT Training Award can:
- propel your organisation into the national spotlight and extend its reach to a greater audience as well as increase awareness to new customers
- showcase what you provide and be rewarded for your implementation of best practice training
- help your organisation to gain Australia wide recognition as an employer or RTO of choice.
ACT organisation winners will enter a second judging process with other state/territory winners, from which 3 finalists are chosen for each category. National winners will be announced at the Australian Training Awards presentation dinner in Melbourne on 20 November 2020.

Nominate your trainers
Do you have trainers who are passionate about VET and inspire their students through engaging and innovative learning?
Your trainers have the opportunity to be recognised for their achievements and be seen as a leader in their field.
The ACT VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year Award recognises innovation and excellence by a teacher/trainer providing nationally recognised training to students at an RTO, or in partnership with an RTO.
The ACT VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year winner will go on to represent the ACT at the Australian Training Awards in Melbourne this November.

Nominate your students
Do you have students who are passionate about VET and recognise it as a valuable career pathway?
Your students have the opportunity to be recognised for their achievements and be seen as a leader in their field of study, training or work.
Nominate your students today for their chance to become an ambassador for the VET sector.
Student category winners receive $2000 each in prize money and will go on to represent the ACT at the Australian Training Awards in Melbourne.
